Well...you were helping me with most of the last tech problem. I used to forward those questions to Uberfuzzy but Joey seemed to intercept most of them. I was actually looking for him when I bumped into your old posts...
I was talking about the Family Guy Wiki. For some reason, it was completely defaulted to 'sapphire' (Monaco I believe) and will not allow any other choices and no one else has had local access to override it that I know of. My personal selection is even set to override another admin's choice if needed. Its not as bad as it used to be before I got an HD monitor, it just bugs me that it is not what I'm used to.
I find it terribly confusing for these two sites being known as "Wikianswers (this site) and WikiAnswers, with the capital "A" (for the Answers.com site). This site takes some getting used to.
You'll please excuse my way of editing your post. I am more used to the Forums in WikiAnswers than in Wikianswers. I find this site to be a bit dufficult to use.

why yes some people I do care for and some people do have the same believes and well I believe in ghosts and thinking if I could be a professional ghost hunter some day or find that special someone in my life in the future also I actually know how to nurse someone in to health and great concerns also!!
Oh well thanks I try my best and well I have no boyfriends so thats why I'm asking well I have one but hes too young and he likes another chick so I think I'm trying to get hooked up again like maybe a guy in town or anything instead of online dateing so yeah....sorry but lets just say I'm a desperated girl and a depressed one on seeing couples holding hands and kissing and stuff. I just feel I have no one out there for me ya know.

DOH - you were completely right about the edit/rename toolbar not showing up for loggedin users. That was totally dumb. we're fixing that ASAP. Thanks for catching it - really appreciate the help!
Several good questions here - let me try to respond to each
- We put them as ads for now, so that a user expects to go somewhere else - like they do with all other ads on the site... My hope is that guildwiki questions would eventually be available as an RSS feed that could go back on guildwiki (why we are tagging all GW questions with a GW category tag)
- there are talk, edit, history, tabs - you just need to login and you should see them. If you don't PLEASE tell me.
- the strange user/talk page is an experiment to see if noobs like it better... your talk page still exists here: http://answers.wikia.com/index.php...rWiki_talk:M.mendel&action=edi
