Colorblind usually refers to an inability to perceive color that one normally should. Dogs are not capable of perceiving as much of the visible light spectrum as humans. Red, yellow, and green are perceived as yellow, dark blue and purple are perceived as blue, and light blue and magenta are a grey color. [1] That said, from the perspective of a bee, we would be considered colorblind, as we can't perceive ultraviolet or infrared.
