Yes. My son is a meth addict. I don't know if it works with other drugs, but I know that it has worked for him more than once. I have also heard that the results are not 100% reliable. He ingests two tablespoons of baking soda and drinks a gallon of water three hours prior to his test. He suggests substituting cranberry juice for the water; it's easier to drink a gallon of it and cranberry juice is a natural urinary tract cleansing agent. He puts the baking soda in gel caps (available at health food stores) because it's hard to choke it down. Evidently the effects last a couple of hours, so you have to be sure to test within that time. The down side is that afterward you may have diarrhea for a day or two. Apparently the baking soda cleans out your entire system.
