We have many examples of separate and supposedly equal aspects to our lives. Restrooms is an obvious example. But if you've been in a lot of restrooms, you come to notice that they are not equal. Generally speaking, women's restrooms are larger, get cleaned more often, and often have decorations or even chairs and couches in them where the 'equivalent' Men's room is a spartan musty room of discolored white tiles and haphazard cleanliness.

So no, separate is never equal.
