Either Sesame Street or neither, depending on how you look at it.

Kermit debuted on the Washington local television program Sam and Friends, back in the mid-1950s, and later various ads. His first major national role was in The Tales of Tinkerdee and Hey Cinderella. Shortly there after, Sesame Street debuted, in 1969. The Muppet Show didn't make airwaves until the 1970s.
