Dear Admins/Bureaucrats (me included)

Hello guys, it is very true the wiki is clogged by a lot of vandalism, however we also have to focus up front in the crucial areas of the wiki:

Crucial Areas:

• Category:Candidates_for_deletion
• Special:RecentChanges
• Special:WikiActivity
• The Wiki's Help Desk Forum (yes I mean THIS forum).

It's true we can't be everywhere at the same time, but remember those who focus by doing their part in those areas. If our contributors are taking the time to mark questions for deletion, but yet we do not delete them; it makes us look worse than if we miss bad questions (or answers).

Cleaning Up

Just like when you're about to drive a car, the first things you check are: the gas meter, the oil, the tires, and you also check to make sure there isn't anyone in the back waiting to clobber ya... those small steps will ensure that your trip will be safe. I can assure you, those might take a minute or two but they are much easier than a trip to eternity unprepared, or a trip to the hospital (your pick) eek o_0 Although it doesn't warrant that nothing will happen to you, a person who doesn't do these things is only making the situation worse. But enough of the divine talk...

The Goal is to address as many Candidates for deletion as possible. The sooner we take care of them after they are marked by our contributors, the better!

So what do we do?

Delete accordingly and if you're not sure, leave it alone and let the next admin decide what to do with it. Make sure that we didn't get a vandal marking a bunch of questions for deletion, just for the fun of it (it has happened) and when you verify the questions have been marked in good faith, just delete or use {{Subst:Red}}. Feel free to comment as desired, although it's not necessary. Nobody is going to be forced to do this but if you don't do those simple steps to keep the wiki clean the best way we humanly can, then there is no reason to complaint about how bad the wiki seems. ;)
