The Humanities place people and their activities at the center of inquiry; in other words, other modes of inquiry and expression are themselves the subject of study, along with many other questions as to the nature and meaning of being human. Neuropsychology, for example, might have something to say about the effects of studying the Humanities, but the Humanities in turn might have something to say concerning the human study of any subject, including Neuropsychology.
