Try to make a budget to see where all your money is going. Figure out what's necessary and what isn't. For example, going to a fast food restaurant and paying $9 when you could buy frozen patties for the same price that would last you a week instead. Trim away any unnecessary bills or try to cancel some services (downgrade your internet speed or to a cable package with less channels, cancel your house phone and use Google Voice for free, etc). Try to budget yourself as well. Tell yourself to spend about $200 in groceries that will last you the month, rather than constantly going out to buy more, etc.
