The worst thing to do is lose weight fast.... Why? When you lose weight "fast" you lose muscle tissue as well as fat. Your "internal combustion engine" (metabolism, capacity to burn fat in the future) is reduced as well. So when you eat something whilst your capacity to burn this fuel is reduced you will store it as fat. You lose 20pnds and gain 22pnds. So my advise (i'm just a humble health prof) is simple. Burn fat without burning muscle tissue. How do you do this? 1. Take your time, lose a max of about 2kg per month do sports (without damaging your body), go walking, use the stairs, etc...this will keep your muscle tissue in good working order 3. Keep your bmi in check! It's not healthy to go under a weight wich is below your bmi. You will get sick more often, etc etc. If you have doubts about your weight, see your GP. He/she can help you lose weight healthy, help you find the right sports/excercise and check your bmi. The GP will be happy to see you and help you prevent disease/problems. Find more:
