The most obvious sign to tell if your pet cat is sick is when they have a dry nose. A dry nose shows most things that can be wrong with the cat (ex: lack of food, too cold, too hot, he/she has a cold and being around the wrong enviorment like maybe a forest if that is possible) That's why every afternoon I check my cat's nose with my index finger too see if she was ok ( You don't have to check that way though).
