How to tweak the adobe acrobat reader "lookup word" feature to go anywhere you want (google search/wikipedia or anything you wish) instead of going to dictionary.com. I've seen it asked but never answered so here is my solution - it involves redirecting and works as is on firefox and chrome but there is probably an equivalent solution in other browsers.

Step 1 - get the requestly extension (reportedly available for firefox & chrome)

Step 2 - open the extension (marked 1 in picture) and add a rule (marked 2).

Step 3 - Select "replace host" as rule type

Step 4 - fill rule as follows:

You and use any replacement you want (e.g. for google search use https://www.google.com/?q= or for translation with auto-detection of language you can use https://translate.google.com/#auto/en/)

Step 5 - save rule and it works
