Instructions 1 Turn your TV off before cleaning to reduce your risk of electric shock.
Dust the ventilation slots on your TV regularly to ensure the unit is properly ventilated. Consider an electrostatic duster (like a Swiffer) to capture the finest dust particles.
Wipe the TV screen using only new dust cloths, as even fine particles in old cloths can scratch the screen. Choose soft, lint-free cloths for best results. The RCA screen cleaning kit includes appropriate dust clothes.
Wet your dust rag with warm water, then wring it out so it is only slightly damp. Use it to wipe away fingerprints and other spots on your screen. Allow the screen to air dry, then wipe away streaks or smudges with a soft, dry cloth.
Spray the cleaning solution from RCA's cleaning kit onto a soft cloth; never spray cleaner directly onto the TV or screen. Wipe the screen clean using this cloth, then allow it to air dry. Wipe away remaining streaks with a clean cloth after the screen is dry.
