Horses need a LOT of care. Every day: you need to feed your horse. Your horse ALWAYS needs clean and fresh water. You have to groom your horse and pick out their hooves to keep them clean, healthy, and happy. You need to clean out their stall once a day, and twice in the summer (because of more insects and parasites.) A horse needs turnout time (in a paddock) to run around. You'll need to ride your horse to keep him/her exercised. But don't override your horse! You will also need to clean your tack. Your horse will need farrier visits every six to eight weeks. Your horse will also need regular vet checks, to stay up to date on deworming and vaccinations. Remember: Your horse needs a lot of work. You can't just ride and forget about him/her! Also, love your horse!
