Lasers are fast moving photons of a specific wavelength. Now on increasing the wavelength and frequency the energy of the photons increases which now when thrown upon any object heats that object. A laser consists of a diode where the fast moving photons collide with each other multiplying their energies several times before leaving it in a straight line.
