To find the area of a parallelogram, use the following formula.

A = bh

b represents the length of the bases, and h represents the distance between the bases, as illustrated. Notice that the height is perpendicular to the bases.

For example, if the length of the base is 15 units, and the height is 5 units, the area is 15 units × 5 units, or 75 units2.
