Just about every ticket stays on your record forever. The information is always there as part of your driving record. It never goes away. It is never erased or expunged. But, it may not count when it comes to insurance or accumulation points, depending on how long ago it happened. If you got a speeding ticket 50 years ago, it is still there but no one really cares about it.
