The figure varies greatly. A new Rep can make anywhere from $50K to $80K in the 1st year and always more or less for extremely lazy people or extremely hard working people. The job is the job is the job and it is all relevant on how hard you work and what your natural market is. The real answer is financial reps CHOOSE how much they make by how hard they work & good they are.

This business can be very lucrative but it requires hard work, a high level of intelligence, great communication skills (talking but mostly listening) and making the right contacts. Highly experienced advisors that have been in the business for some time are making in the millions.
