About 5-6 shots of liquor beer=8-10
As a registered and certified bartender, the amount of alcohol that it takes to make a person "drunk" depends several things:
- the weight of the person
- the sex of a person
- if the person has eaten recently
- if the person is on medication
- the metabolism of a person
For example, my husband is 6' 3" tall and weighs just over 280 lbs. He can drink 2 bottles of beer before he is light headed and unable to drive within the legal limits. But ... I am 5'9" tall, weigh 163 lbs, and can drink 6 beer before I am unable to drive within legal limits. Neither one of us takes medication.
One beer, one shot of spirit, and one glass of wine are all the same when measuring a "drink"
