Less than a gram. The estimated value of all gold in the average computer is around $25. If you factor in other precious metals such as Platinum, Copper, Zinc, Silver... etc, you may be looking at around $40 in estimated metallurgic value. Please consider also, that I have heard from several sources that the components themselves (Transistors, Capacitors, Crystals, CMOS, etc) can be worth several times what the total value of the metal is worth. I am still trying to figure out who is willing to pay for those components. Stock piling precious metals however is always a secure investment for the future.
