Is there a formula for the number of right angles in any polygons?

Basically, no. A polygon can be any shape with a certain number of sides. Just take 3 sides - you have a triangle. Now a triangle could have one right angle, but it could also have none.

In four sides - a Square or other rectangle has 4, but non-rectangular qadrilaterals may have one or two or none.

So there is no way of relating the number of right angles to the number of sides in an object.
