What does reversible mean?

It is used in Chemistry usually when I did my degree in it, water is Reversible It can be heated up into water vapour which is then water, can then be frozen that is the normal routine. If i REVERSE that, Frozen water heated up is water vapour then i collect it and i get water, which means it is "UNDOABLE" or in this case "REVERSEABLE" Hope this helped
