Laproscopy is a kind of modern surgery done through a very small incision in the abdomen. Cameras are used so that the surgeon can see what to do.
The reasons for doing laproscopy are shorter hospital stays, reduced hemorrhaging, less pain, shorter recovery times, etc. There are some risks, too, which your doctor will tell you about at the appropriate time.
