The Wikianswers widget is a way for users to ask and view questions while they're visiting another Wikia site. It can be displayed in the sidebar of the Monaco skin.
When a user asks a question via the widget, their question is automatically categorized to show which wiki they were on. For example, Category:WoWWiki contains all questions asked via this widget, or via the ad which appeared on WoWWiki.com.
The widget displays questions that were asked by users on that same wiki. If no relevant questions have been asked yet, a message is shown instead of any questions.
For logged in users, the widget suggests becoming a category editor. For unregistered users, the widget just has some info on what Wikianswers is.
Registered users have the option of adding, moving, or closing the widget. The widget is sometimes shown by default to unregistered users on some wikis.
The color and style of the widget depends on each wiki's own stylesheet and is fully customizable.
