The Black Death was a disease in the Middle Ages that effected mainly Europle. People with this illness were HIGHLY contagious and no one knew the cause of it (it is known now, to have been carried of from fleas on rats). Horrible dark spots would apper on the skin, coughing, flesh rot, and may other disgusting symptoms. It is estimated that 30-60% of Europe was killed by this and it took 150 before Europe recovered. Death from it was long and painful, lasting from between 60 and 180 days, but they're was little to nothing you could do about it.
